Our Packaging Protocol

Temperature Assessment

Before packing, we check ambient temperatures at origin and destination. For high-temperature periods, we add extra phase-change gel packs rated for up to 72 hours of temperature maintenance.

Custom Foam Inserts

Each bottle is placed in a custom-moulded foam cell that absorbs shock from all angles. Our packaging is lab-tested to protect against drops from 1.2 metres.

Double Inspection

Every bottle is photographed before dispatch — capsule, fill level, label condition, and cork. This protects both you and us in the rare event of a dispute.

Tamper-Evident Sealing

Boxes are sealed with tamper-evident tape and include a temperature indicator strip inside. If the strip indicates a temperature breach, we replace the bottle — no arguments.

Key Policies

Free delivery threshold

Standard delivery is free on all orders over ₹5,000 (after discounts, before delivery charges). Orders under ₹5,000 attract a flat ₹299 standard delivery fee.

Processing time

Orders placed before 2pm on a business day are processed the same day. Orders placed after 2pm or on weekends/public holidays are processed the next business day. Delivery timelines begin from the date of dispatch, not the date of order.

Signature requirement

All wine deliveries require a signature from an adult (21+) at the delivery address. If nobody is available to sign, the delivery agent will attempt twice on consecutive days, then hold the package at a local hub for 3 days.

Order tracking

You will receive an SMS and email with a tracking link within 2 hours of dispatch. Express orders receive hourly updates on dispatch day. Contact us on WhatsApp for real-time updates.

Damaged in transit

Every shipment is fully insured. If your wine arrives damaged, photograph the damage immediately and notify us within 24 hours at navjotsumandev@gmail.com or WhatsApp. We arrange a replacement or full refund within 48 hours.

Failed delivery

After two failed delivery attempts, your order is returned to our facility. We will contact you to arrange re-delivery. A re-delivery charge of ₹299 applies. Orders not re-delivered within 10 days will be cancelled and refunded, minus a 10% restocking fee.

Returns Summary

We accept returns for:

  • Wines that are corked or TCA-tainted
  • Bottles damaged in transit
  • Wrong item delivered
  • Description materially inaccurate

We do not accept returns for:

  • ×Wines not to your personal taste
  • ×Opened or partially consumed bottles
  • ×Wines stored incorrectly by the customer
  • ×Change of mind after dispatch
